"Rosie," soft pastel, 8"x10" on art spectrum paper.  I don’t usually paint dogs, but this is a surprise gift.  Back in January, I posted a "pay it forward" note on Facebook that the first 5 people who liked the post would get a nice surprise from me sometime during the year.  A good friend liked the post.  Here’s her surprise.

My cat Roscoe is the poster cat for Love Your Library week.  He’s on a poster and a bookmark.  About 40 of my cat paintings will be on exhibit at the College of St. Scholastica Library in celebration of Love Your Library week.

ART HELPING BOXERS: Henry — Sale Pending. This casual wash and line painting of Henry was painted to generate a donation to Legacy Boxer Rescue in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. Henry’s mom-woman has seen the painting and wants to purchase it. The funds will be donated to Legacy Boxer Rescue as soon as a payment arrives in the mail, at which time the painting will ship to its new home.
